Tenant Quotas#

Tenant quotas protect shared platform capacity and make it clear when a tenant is approaching an operational limit. Use the quota drawer to review current usage, understand remaining capacity, and request an increase when the default limit is no longer enough.

Navigate: Tenant → Quotas or open the quota drawer from the tenant usage indicator, when available.

What the quota drawer shows#

Field

Meaning

Usage

How many items are currently counted for the quota

Limit

The current maximum allowed for the tenant

Available

Remaining capacity before the limit is reached

Utilisation

Percentage of the limit already consumed

Status

Whether usage is healthy, near the limit, or blocked

Quotas are evaluated per tenant. Usage can change after background syncs, report generation, onboarding changes, or cleanup jobs.

Requesting an increase#

When a quota is close to the limit:

  1. Open the quota drawer

  2. Select the quota that needs more capacity

  3. Enter the requested new limit

  4. Add a short business justification

  5. Submit the request

The request is reviewed by the platform team. Submitting a request does not increase the limit immediately.

Note

The same quota type can be requested again only after a 48-hour cooldown. If a request has just been submitted, wait for the review outcome before opening another request for the same quota.

When a quota is exceeded#

If usage reaches the limit, Reply CMP blocks the action that would create additional items for that quota. Existing data is not removed.

Examples:

  • If the connection quota is full, you cannot add another provider connection.

  • If the report quota is full, you cannot save another scheduled report.

  • If the alert rule quota is full, you cannot create another alert rule until capacity is increased or an existing rule is removed.

To recover, either remove unused items or request a quota increase.
