v1.3.5#

14/10/2026

Reply CMP v1.3.5 refreshes the portal experience with a redesigned Home page, consistent empty states and a more cohesive appearance across light and dark themes.

Home#

  • Viewport-fitting overview keeps cloud provider cards compact and adapts panel heights, charts and spacing to the available desktop workspace without page or card scrolling. Adaptive previous/next controls keep longer lists accessible; small or very short screens use stacked layouts with only page scrolling and room below the last panel.

  • Suggested next steps rotate useful, permission-aware shortcuts in a compact Home action bar. Its integrated dropdown gives immediate access to all available actions; hover, keyboard focus and reduced-motion preferences keep interactions steady. The CMP Agent mascot is neutral at rest and gains colour on hover or keyboard focus.

  • Provider-first spending view shows a larger donut with all provider totals below it, without requiring organizational groups. Hover tooltips identify the provider and cost without covering the net total. Azure remains blue, AWS orange and GCP green; credits stay visible in the legend and net total, and genuine zero costs use a neutral ring.

  • Operational overview prioritizes enabled Firing alerts, exceeded/near-limit budget periods and High-impact provider recommendation snapshots. Source filters, adaptive pages and contextual Agent questions turn signals into useful starting points; missing or inaccessible data is not an all-clear.

  • Anchored recent items move history into a compact header popover, showing up to seven links without scrolling, readable item types and relative viewing times.

  • Clearer onboarding guides empty workspaces through connecting a cloud, discovering resources and understanding costs. Available actions continue to respect your permissions.

  • Cost-scope explanation clarifies that the workspace total includes billing costs not linked to a connection. Provider and connection breakdowns retain their existing scope; cost calculations are unchanged.

See First login.

CMP Agent and Monitoring#

  • Capability-aware quick actions retrieve scoped facts through available tools and combine them with clearly proposed cloud guidance. Recommendation answers focus on concrete remediation and safety checks, rather than unavailable live IAM/resolution audits; alert answers inspect the supported monitoring signal.

  • Focused Discovery and FinOps questions preserve entity/query scope without sending full inventory or hierarchy snapshots. Saved rules, resource-count coverage, cost filters and forecast limitations remain explicit; proposals do not apply changes.

  • Conversational explanations and useful charts ask for a clear operational judgement rather than a measurement checklist, with compact, data-grounded cost/metric charts when helpful.

  • Readable budget explanations highlight the conclusion and key cost drivers, distinguish rising costs from an undersized budget, and request a compact visual when comparable figures are available. Forecasts and partial-period charges stay distinct from full-period limits.

  • Actionable Discovery and Allocation answers emphasize a clear conclusion and a few specific proposals, such as targeted rule fixes, justified owner candidates and useful resource checks, rather than inventory or KPI summaries.

  • Clearer alert history separates latest recorded state/evaluation time from incident opening and historical transition values. Refreshing the drawer only rereads status and history.

See CMP Agent, Allocate and Alert rules.

Empty states#

  • Consistent guidance replaces sparse empty screens across cloud connections, Discovery, deployments, automation, FinOps and Monitoring with shared illustrations and contextual actions.

  • No matching results stays distinct from an empty collection, with filter-reset actions where available. Loading and errors are not presented as successful empty results.

  • Responsive illustrations adapt to smaller screens and respect reduced-motion preferences.

See Manage connections, Browse resources and Monitoring dashboards.

Appearance and navigation#

  • Coherent light and dark themes improve surfaces, borders, fields, dialogs and status text while preserving the original light-theme brand orange and white foregrounds on brand controls.

  • Unified navigation aligns the dark top bar with the logo background and lets submenus share the sidebar surface, separated by a vertical divider.

  • Integrated scrollbars use slim brand-accent thumbs and transparent tracks.

  • Consistent provider cards share the Home styling across deployment details, connection selectors and Discovery resource details, with readable names, aliases and status labels.
